ELK HORN, Arizona State Forestry – Tucson District, human caused, started 6/11, located 26 miles southwest of Three Points, AZ (31 48 1 x 111 33 38). Extreme fire behavior moving south to southeast. Progressed well with aerial ignition to gain perimeter control. Plan included line preparation, utilizing natural barriers and line construction, using aerial ignition as appropriate. Values at Risk: private property. Growth Potential: High. Difficulty of Terrain: Extreme. Type 3 Management (Miller, IC).
